There were other instructors, I think for a total of about three, whom were walking around helping us with our artwork if we needed help or guidance on how to proceed. The main instructor was very knowledgeable, clear and easy to understand while also setting a good pace for both beginners and advanced painters. Small tapas type food is offered as well for a reasonable price. There is a bar and small kitchen where wine beer and non alcoholic drinks are offered. Membership library, rotating art exhibits, events space, and maker lectures in a beautiful historic building.
And that’s a shame, because 1) Portland, Maine, took the name first by a factor of 219 years, and 2) it hosts a vibrant, eclectic cocktail scene that can compete with towns 10 times its size. I would print out the original next time for easy reference. I f someone says Portland, and bar together in the same sentence, there’s a good chance you immediately think of the largest city in Oregon. Some people printed a copy I had one on my iPhone but I was a little nervous about getting paint on my phone because I was constantly referring to the photo. Bring this photo with you to the event to help mix the colors and use as a reference for mixing paints and shading. Before attending we submitted a photo of which we would use as our Muse to paint. We were both very nervous about painting our lovely pets and didn't want to be disappointed if we did a terrible job.
